ImmunoStrip® for Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV)
The Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) ImmunoStrip® is used to detect the presence of ToBRFV in solanaceous crops. ImmunoStrips® are the perfect screening tool for use in the field, greenhouse, and the lab.
The ToBRFV ImmunoStrip® cross-reacts with Tomato mottle mosaic virus (ToMMV) and has mild cross-reactivity to Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) and Tomato mosaic virus (ToMV). For more technical information, click here.
The ToBRFV ImmunoStrip® is estimated to have up to a threefold increase in sensitivity for ToBRFV compared to Agdia's TMV ImmunoStrip®.
Tomato brown rugose fruit virus is an extremely stable virus and can easily infect adjacent plants and contaminate surfaces such as benches, pots, tools, etc.
If you would prefer to add a field-deployable molecular assay to your testing toolkit, please check out Agdia's ToBRFV AmplifyRP® XRT method.
