ELISA Reagent Set for Odontoglossum ringspot virus (ORSV)
This ELISA test is a qualitative serological assay for the detection of Odontoglossum ringspot virus (ORSV) in orchid leaves. ORSV is a member of the Tobamovirus genus known for their rod-shaped virus particles.
ORSV is generally spread through orchid collections via contact with contaminated tools, because of this be sure to wash all sample cutting tools with a bleach solution before using them on another plant. This virus frequently causes severe symptoms in cultivated orchids, reducing the value of infected plants.
