Membrane Kit for TRV
IMPORTANT: U.S. law requires that plant materials entering the U.S. from foreign countries are first inspected by a USDA APHIS inspection station. This permit packet facilitates that process and is required to submit membranes to our laboratory. Membranes that are shipped absent a permit packet will be destroyed upon arrival. The Tobacco rattle virus (TRV) nucleic acid hybridization assay is intended for the detection of TRV in its host plants. TRV strains that this assay detects include, but are not limited to, TRV ORY ("Oregon yellow", ATCC accession PV72), TRV COT1 (Colorado), TRV BM (Washington), TRV UMT-1 (Oregon), TRV MI-1 (Michigan), and TRV WA-1 (Michigan).
This test is suitable for testing leaf or tuber tissues from TRV host species such as cucumber, potato, tomato or tobacco.
